I'm a retired paramedic and firefighter, instructor and author of crime and sci-fi novels. I began shooting in 2022 and took my first underwater photography course in Bonaire in 2024. I upgraded to the Canon R5 II in 2026 and shot all of these in Bonaire where I now happily spend about half the year.
