My team and I previously made a documentary called Sweden’s Saltiest Coast, which explored pollution and the fishing industry. We spoke to a wide range of researchers and fishermen, and the film was selected for screening at the Green Screen Film Festival in Eckernförde in 2024.

Building on that experience, we are now working on a new documentary about the Swedish west coast. It explores what happens when the sea becomes 1.5 degrees warmer than it is today.

I first started diving in the 1990s and have been diving on and off since then. For this project, I took up diving again and decided to invest in underwater housing so I could film everything myself. I have never regretted that decision, as diving gives me so much more than filming above the surface ever could.
