Kate Terets, a San Francisco Bay Area-based fine-art underwater photographer, began her creative journey as a scuba diver capturing marine life and soon fell in love with portraying people underwater.
For past three years she’s been capturing mermaids at California Mermaid Convention and around the world creating stunning visuals in both confined and open water environments bringing underwater magic to the surface and blending the lines between the fantasy and reality.
