If you're looking for a point-and-shoot style workflow with premium speed and image quality, then the 200FP options for Sony a6700 are just the right thing for you.
Housing Features
The 200FP/T and 200FP/F fixed port housings feature simple drop-in camera loading and pushbutton power zoom with the 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS PZ lens. Each housing is form fit to the camera and comes standard with a complete vacuum leak detection system and tray with dual handles.
Attach 67mm threaded wet lenses and adapters to the front of the hard anodized aluminum flat port. The housing can also be used without an external wet lens attached, providing full access to the camera's 16-50mm zoom range without vignetting.
There are two options depending on the desired type of strobe triggering:
- 200FP/T Underwater Housing for Sony Alpha a6700 PZ 16-50mm with Built-In TTL for DS Strobes # 69123-TTL
- 200FP/F Underwater Housing for Sony Alpha a6700 PZ 16-50mm with Fiber Optic Transmitter for Manual Triggering of Fiber Optic Strobes # 69123-FBR

Alternative Options
While wet lenses can be incredibly versatile, there are a few disadvantages. They tend to be very heavy, which can make both packing and underwater handling a bit cumbersome. They can also be quite an investment for something that can only be used effectively under the surface of the water.
We like investing lenses that do double-duty for shooting both underwater and topside. If you're looking for the convenience of going from wide angle to macro on one dive but don't want to carry around heavy wet lenses that can only be used underwater, consider a Canon R7, R10, or R100 mirrorless camera with the RF-S 18-150mm zoom lens instead.
