Our popular line of compact DLM-series housings for Canon Mirrorless cameras are being re-released with integrated fiber optic TTL support.
TTL Automatic Strobe Exposure
Camera-controlled TTL flash exposure is a powerful tool in your underwater toolkit. With TTL flash control, the camera will automatically measure the distance to subject using a pre flash, and adjust the duration of the main flash to properly exposure the subject of your photo.
Strobe Compatibility
The fiber optic TTL Transmitter provides native TTL functionality with Ikelite Ecko Fiber and RC-series strobes including the new RC165. Simply plug in a fiber optic cord - no extra adapters needed.

Ecko Fiber and RC165 strobes feature built-in fiber optic TTL support - no adapter needed. Just plug in a fiber optic cord and go.
If you have a legacy Ikelite DS strobe, you can unleash fiber optic TTL functionality by adding the RC2 TTL Receiver and a fiber optic cord. Each strobe needs its own RC2 Receiver.
Non-Ikelite fiber optic compatible strobes can be used in manual exposure modes only. Traditional hard-wired strobes can be used with the housing by removing the integrated fiber optic transmitter and installing the B3A ICS-5 Bulkhead and Waterproof Cap (sold separately).
Creative Lighting Control
You can still use Manual camera exposure - setting ISO, shutter sped and aperture - while using the TTL system for your strobe. It makes it easier and eliminates one variable you have to adjust. Since it’s done with electrical communication, it also accesses hundreds of incremental power levels that aren’t on the strobe’s power switch. So it’s much more accurate than manual exposure.

There’s tremendous flexibility of strobe exposure while still using TTL as a baseline. Quickly dial in plus/minus flash exposure compensation in between shots using the camera’s menu. You can also change the positioning of your strobes to effortlessly ratio light intensity. Moving one strobe slightly closer or farther away from the subject can shift the balance of power between the two strobes to add depth and interest to your photos.
