Panasonic Lumix ZS80 (TZ95) and ZS70 (TZ90) Physical Differences [VIDEO]

Panasonic Lumix ZS80 (TZ95) and ZS70 (TZ90) Physical Differences [VIDEO]

Panasonic has released the Lumix DC-ZS80 (DC-TZ95) which is physically identical to the 2017 model DC-ZS70 (DC-TZ90) in almost every way.

The height of the camera body on one side of the camera body and mode dial has increased slightly. This change affects the way that the ZS80 (TZ95) camera operates in the Underwater Housing # 6170.70.

Housings below serial # 71628 were calibrated for the ZS70 (TZ90) camera. These housings require an additional washer to be added underneath the knob for the mode dial to accommodate the newer ZS80 (TZ95) camera.

Housings above serial # 71628 are calibrated for the ZS80 (TZ95) camera. The washer underneath the mode dial should be removed when using the ZS70 (TZ90) camera.

This video explains the differences and shows the procedure for adding or removing the washer.
