OM 8-25mm Set-Up DLM/B // Zoom Gear Installation [VIDEO]

A wider field of view can make all the difference underwater. In this video, we’ll show you how to configure the OM System 8-25mm F4 Pro lens for zoom operation when paired with a compatible Ikelite underwater housing and dome port.

This video covers housings utilizing the DLM/B port mount only. This includes but is not limited to:

• 200DLM/B Underwater Housing for Olympus OM-D E-M1 III
• 200DLM/B Underwater Housing for OM System OM-1, OM-1 II

It's important to select the correct zoom gear and port combination for your camera. Refer to the product page for your Ikelite Underwater Housing to find the correct port recommendations.

Instructions

1. Use the thinnest zoom gear clamp pads in the kit
2. Remove the adhesive backing from the pads and apply the pads to the inside diameter of the zoom gear clamp
3. Slide the zoom gear clamp onto the lens and line up one of the tabs with the red indexing dot on the lens, the tabs should face away from the camera body
   
4. Slide the zoom gear teeth side up into the port mount opening, aligning one of the notches on the inside diameter with the indexing mark on the camera body
5. Slide the lens into the port mount opening and bayonet onto the camera, ensure the indent on the clamp's tabs fit together with the notches on the inside diameter of the zoom gear
6. Ensure all sealing surfaces are clean of debris, then lightly lubricate the inside diameter sealing surface of the dome port and the o-ring of the port mount, then attach the dome port and secure by finger tightening the thumbscrews
7. Test for zoom functionality by using the zoom knob located on the side of the dome port
