I retired from the United States Air Force and my family and I moved to Navarre, Florida where diving is great all year round between the gulf and the springs in the area. I am a full time Zookeeper and part time Divemaster with Shark Quest and have been diving since 2010.
I started filming underwater for my YouTube channel "The Deco Stop" so moving up to a mirrorless Sony a7 IV from the GoPro only made sense for Sony's RAW capability and the ability to shoot in S-Log. My favorite things to capture on film are sharks, reef fish, and all the wrecks we have off the coast of Destin, Florida, soon to include the SS United States! When I don't have my camera in my hand I replace it with my pole spear to help control the Lionfish population.
The gear: My camera of choice is the Sony a7 IV paired with Sony's 20mm lens inside the Ikelite 200DL Underwater Housing with 8 inch Dome Port.
