Kevin Dukes is a content creator for Visit Destin-Fort Walton Beach where one of his most exciting responsibilities is photographing newly deployed artificial reefs. Kevin shares what makes this so special saying, "Documenting these reefs is a unique opportunity—not only to record their placement but also to revisit them over time and witness how marine life transforms them into thriving ecosystems."
Photography has always been a passion for Kevin, whether it was documenting family gatherings, sporting events, or exploring the world. But that passion took a new direction when he became scuba certified in 2021 and invested in a Canon R6 II with the Ikelite 200DL Underwater Housing with 8 inch Dome Port and dual DS Strobes. Since then he's become fully immersed in capturing the underwater environment, especially artificial reefs.
