I grew up in Maryland where my twin brother and I have always shared a fascination for marine life, we spent many summers snorkeling in the Chesapeake Bay. During our teenage years a dive shop opened in our neighborhood and we were constant visitors, although too young to dive. We first SCUBA dived when we were 18 years of age.
I have also always been very interested in photography. Diving allowed me to pursue two passions at once. My first UW camera was a Nikonos II. At one point I was fortunate to work for a company at the forefront of neutral bouncy NASA EVA training and did a great deal of photography there.

I began college with the intent of becoming a marine biologist. Ultimately, I went into the healthcare field. I am an orthodontist by profession. It has been a wonderful career helping to improve the lives of so many people.
Over the years I have dived many locations in the Caribbean. Having discovered the wonderful island of Bonaire about 20 years ago much of my current diving originates from there. With the clear waters, easily accessed dive sites and a multitude of photographic opportunities it keeps me returning year after year.

Edwin Morris is an orthodontist by trade and an underwater photographer by passion. Edwin has been fascinated by marine life since childhood when he would snorkel the Chesapeake Bay with his twin brother.
