Sony 10-20mm PZ Lens // Underwater Results [VIDEO]

Logan has returned from South Africa with some amazing footage taken with the Sony E PZ 10-20mm f/4 G lens. Check out the footage below or scroll down to learn more about why we love the Sony 10-20mm PZ lens and how you can streamline your housing by utilizing the Power Zoom feature of this lens.

The Sony 10-20mm is a lightweight and compact APS-C lens which provides a 15-30mm full frame equivalent field of view. It's a great choice for use with the Sony a6700 in an Ikelite 200DLM/E Underwater Housing. Use a full size 8" Dome Port to get the best edge sharpness and to improve your results when shooting split shots (half-in, half-out of the water).

Power Zoom Your Lens

The PZ feature means that on newer Sony cameras, you can program the rear buttons of your camera to zoom in and out. This can be a big advantage when shooting underwater and will also help you streamline your housing by ditching the zoom gear.

On your Sony camera, navigate to Operation Customize > Custom Key Dial Set and choose two buttons that will work best for you for zooming in and out. Watch Logan's video Power Zoom Your Sony PZ Lens Underwater to learn more about how to set up your camera to utilize this function.
