Compatibility
Zoom Gear for Panasonic SL-series (L-mount) cameras in a compatible Ikelite 200DL Underwater Housing. Cameras include (but not limited to): Panasonic S1, S1 II, S1 IIE, S1R, S1R II, S5, S5 II, S5 IIX
This gear is not compatible with all housings. Refer to the appropriate lens port chart to select the correct gear for your lens.
This gear is intended for zoom operation only. Manual focus not supported.
Installing the Zoom Clamp
Slide the zoom clamp over the lens and secure it around the zoom ring of the lens with the tabs facing toward the lens mount. Line one of the zoom clamp's tabs up with the indexing dot on the lens.

The zoom clamp tabs should be facing toward the lens mount and one should line up with the red indexing dot on the lens, as pictured on the right.
Installing the Zoom Gear
With the camera installed in the housing and the body cap removed, place the zoom gear teeth-side down into the port opening of the housing. Turn the zoom knob on the side of the housing until one of the indents on the zoom gear line up with the indexing dot on the camera.

One of the indents on the zoom gear should line up with the red indexing dot on the camera, as pictured.
Installing the Lens
Ensure the focus switch on the lens is set to AF (autofocus), remove the front and back caps from the lens. Bayonet the lens onto the camera body. The tab of the zoom clamp that is in line with the indexing dot on the lens should fit into the indent on the zoom gear that is in line with the indexing dot on the camera. Once installed use the zoom knob on the housing to test for zoom functionality.
Now you can attach your extension and dome port. Ensure you're using Ikelite lubricant to lubricate the o-rings and sealing surfaces of your housing's port mount, extension, and dome port. Once you've successfully attached your extension and dome port and fully sealed your housing we recommend putting a vacuum on your housing to check for leaks and to reinforce all of the sealing mechanisms of your housing.

Once the zoom gear, extension, and dome are installed you're ready to dive. We recommend putting a vacuum on your housing for added security before taking your housing underwater.
