Jonathan Bird Nikon D-200 photos from the Galapagos while evaluating a new port body size especially created for the 12-24 mm Nikkor lens. This new port body length, combined with a +2 diopter close-up lens, provides improved corner sharpness.

In addition to Bird's capable hands, the photos also benefited from an Ikelite housing, and two DS-125 SubStrobes.
