All functions of the camera are accessible in this corrosion free clear polycarbonate molded housing. The housing includes a flash diffuser to be used with the camera's built-in flash when illuminate underwater subjects.

Removable external color filters #6441.32 for tropical blue water and #6441.72 for green water settings provide color correction in sunny conditions up to approximately 80ft (24m). For use without a flash. Filters sold separately.

For optimum lighting underwater an optional external strobe (flash) is recommended. Ikelite strobes are brighter, recycle faster and offer wider coverage than the camera's flash. Being farther from the camera lens, the strobe aids in reducing the illumination of particles in the water which helps to eliminate backscatter.

An external port adapter is required for the use of accessory wide-angle and close-up lenses. Order the #9306.81 for use with 67mm threaded lenses such as the Ikelite W-20, Inon Type II, and Epoque lenses. Choose the #9306.80 adapter for use with Inon bayonet mount lenses.
