Molded of clear polycarbonate to provide seamless construction and corrosion proof performance. This "Clearly Superior" design provides full view of the camcorder, control functions, and the main o-ring seal for assurance that the system is safe. Maximum operating depth is 200 feet (60 meters).

Housing measures 5" wide, or 11" wide with the removable handle bar attached; 8" high including the removable base; and 8" deep including knobs and port. Weight above water is less than ten pounds for easy packing, and very slightly negative in saltwater for stability and good handling.

The housing base removes instantly with a unique toggle clamp for traveling or attaching of the optional Pro Video-Lite 3 battery pack. The handle assembly detaches from the housing by removal of just two nuts for packing.

The Ikelite Super-Eye viewfinder provides magnification of the camera's viewfinder image. Addition of the optional Ikelite #9290.94 Mirror assembly allows the camera's LCD monitor to be viewed from the side of the housing.

The included removable UR/Pro filter enhances red tones in tropical blue water settings with available sunlight at depths up to 80ft (24m). An accessory green water filter #6441.81 is also available for color correction and more natural tones in green water settings.

Optional Ikelite W-20, Inon UWL-100 Type II, and Epoque external wide angle lenses attach directly to the 67mm threaded port.

The housing allows use of optional Sony NP-FP50, NP-FP60, NP-FP70 and NP-FP90 batteries.
