 Roy German was just recently certified to scuba dive and has already "got his feet wet" with underwater photography. He uses a Canon 40D with Ikelite Housing and Substrobe DS125. When practicing underwater photography be sure to pay attention to your buoyancy, respect other divers and the reef, and remember to keep an eye on your gauges! |
Clark Johnston took the above photo in Bonaire using a Canon G9 in an Ikelite housing with a Substrobe DS125. Clark recommends this set-up as a lighter option when faced with airline luggage and weight restrictions. For best results with the Canon G9, try Av aperture priority or Tv shutter priority mode. Set the camera on compulsory flash and set your Substrobe to TTL.  Adam Weisblatt took this photo in Ft. Lauderdale using a Canon G9 in a non-Ikelite housing with the AutoFlash AF35. The AutoFlash AF35 attaches directly to the bottom of most underwater housings from Canon, Olympus and Sony. |
