This compact digital housing is molded of corrosion free clear polycarbonate, it is virtually indestructible with heavy duty walls that allow it to operate safely to 60m (200 feet).

All functions of the camera are accessible through the housing. A flash diffuser is included to aid in improving lighting quality when the camera's built-in flash is used to illuminate subjects underwater.

Optional color filters #6441.32 for tropical blue water and #6441.72 for green water settings provide color correction in sunny conditions up to 80' (24m). For use without a strobe.

For optimum lighting underwater an optional external strobe (flash) is recommended. Ikelite strobes are brighter, recycle faster and offer wider coverage than the camera's flash. Being farther from the camera lens, the strobe aids in reducing the illumination of particles in the water which helps to eliminate backscatter.

An external port adapter is required for the use of accessory wide-angle and close-up lenses. Order the #9306.81 for use with 67mm threaded lenses such as the Ikelite W-20, Inon Type II, and Epoque lenses. Choose the #9306.80 adapter for use with Inon bayonet mount lenses. Note: Bayonet style lenses may exhibit slight vignetting.
