![]() ![]() Digital SubStrobes & TTL progression |

Dumb, but not stupid, proves to be a brilliant choice for strobe progression. Our digital SubStrobes are smart enough to respond immediately to any instruction, but not smart enough to decide anything on their own. This provides the most cost effective and satisfactory choice for adding strobes to digital cameras by including conversion circuitry in the housing rather than in the strobe. This allows us to configure the circuitry to the idiosyncrasies of that particular camera without changing the strobe, and the customer is not stuck with an obsolete strobe when changing cameras. We are justifiably proud of the deciphering we have done to provide the conversion circuitry for our various housings. We have also found this circuitry usually does NOT operate successfully or as well with subsequent new camera models when they are introduced. Almost without exception, circuit changes are required or are beneficial. |
