These Canon digital camcorders are so small that the housing is an absolute delight to use. A complete housing and camera combination weighs approximately 3.6kg (8 lbs). The housing with base and handles measures 30cm (12") width; 20cm (8") height; 19cm (7.5") length.

UR/Pro color filter for tropical blue water settings is included with the housing. Available #6441.81 color filter (sold separately) provides color correction for green water settings. Effective with available sunlight up to 80' (24m).

The housing port is threaded allowing the use of optional #6420 Ikelite W-20 lens and other 67mm threaded wide-angle conversion lens available from Inon or Epoque.

Super Eye magnifier for the optical viewfinder is included, providing enhanced viewing while wearing a diving mask. The camera’s LCD monitor can be viewed from the rear of the housing, using the external mirror featured on the side of the housing.

Open the camera’s LCD monitor, rotate 180 degrees, and then press it back against the side of the camera before installation. The External Mirror is hinged so that it can be opened to reflect the image from the camera’s LCD monitor.
The image from the camera’s LCD monitor is reversed when viewed in the External Mirror.

The base removes instantly with a unique toggle clamp for traveling or attaching of the optional Pro Video-Lite 3 battery pack. The handle assembly detaches from the housing by removal of just two nuts for packing.
