		These cords connect Ikelite SubStrobes to Ikelite housings or Ikelite TTL Adapters. TTL compatible with all Ikelite film and digital TTL housings. Older cords look similar, but can not power the TTL circuitry in the housing. Do NOT connect a non-TTL strobe using this cord.

These cords connect Ikelite Substrobes to housings fitted with Nikonos sockets. They provide only manual strobe operation.

Special cord with Delrin style connector.

When to Use: These are 2-conductor manual sync cords for use of Ikelite SubStrobes with most digital camera systems. Use with Nexus, Subal, Aquatica, Sea & Sea, Seacam, and other housings that feature a Nikonos-style bulkhead.

TTL cords connect Nikonos system to Ikelite SubStrobe. For Nikonos camera or FILM camera in non-Ikelite housings.

Do NOT connect a non-TTL strobe.

#4100.6 Manual Controller provides 10 power settings in half-stop increments for SubStrobe DS models. The Manual Controller has a slave sensor allowing it to be triggered by another strobe; or attach any of our sync cords to the Controller bulkhead.

Install between any Ikelite SubStrobe and a #4100.5 Slave Sensor, #4100.6 Manual Controller, or any Ikelite sync cord.

** Some non-Ikelite brands of lubricants have been known to cause softening and swelling of our "O" rings. We recommend using only Ikelite silicone lubricant on all of our "O" rings to prevent potential problems or flooding. Available as part number #0184.1 one 1cc tube or in #5020 package of four 1cc tubes.

Protective caps are available for sync cords. These are machined from black Delrin, apply almost no squeeze to the "O" ring, and allow connector attachment on both ends so one $10 cap accommodates both ends of the sync cord.

NOTE:

Some European manufacturers have taken the liberty to provide a "revised" Nikonos bulkhead that does not have the two spring type contacts of a genuine Nikonos design. These sockets may destroy a plug like ours which is designed to Nikonos specifications.
