The DS-50 was created especially for use with digital cameras, but is completely compatible with all film cameras including the Nikonos and all new Nikon systems. It can be used with normal or pre-flash camera systems. The DS-50 features the best price, recycle time, and most flashes per set of batteries in its class.

The DS-50 provides ten power settings in half/stop increments when connected to our Manual Controller. This controller can operate as a wireless sensor triggered by another strobe, or by attaching an optional sync cord.

This compact strobe provides 50 watt seconds of electrical energy with coverage adequate for lenses as wide as 28mm, or add the included diffuser for wider coverage and softer lighting. Combine several to cover very wide angle lenses with minimal illumination of particles suspended in the water.

The DS-50 operates TTL when connected with appropriate sync cord to applicable cameras or housing; or utilized with our wireless TTL Slave Sensor system.

The DS-50 is available in the following cost saving packages with either of two mounting arm systems, and your choice of Manual Controller, TTL Slave Sensor or TTL sync cord:

#4075.1 Strobe Arm system attaches and removes with a touch of the Release Handle button. The Manual Controller or TTL Sensor maintains its aim and position while adjusting the strobe. The arm can also be attached under the wing nut of our digital housings that utilize an aluminum handle. The TTL Sensor or Manual Controller mounts under the strobe in this situation.

Deluxe Ball Socket arm system allows easy strobe placement from macro close-up to wide angle without changing aim of the Sensor. The complete system removes with a push of the handle button.

This new 1" diameter ball system operates very nicely underwater and interchanges with ULCS and TLC arm components.
