NO LONGER AVAILABLE SUBSTROBE 400 ~ History of the design: This basic body was introduced as a Substrobe 150 in the late seventies, and became the workhorse for professional underwater photographers. We added more power over the years, increasing the output to 225 then 300 watt seconds, but number of flashes and recycle time both suffered. All electronics have been redesigned with sophisticated new circuitry to provide a full 400 watt seconds of power while providing faster recycle times and 50 more flashes than the old Substrobe 300 it replaced.
