This series is the absolute value leader in strobes capable of covering wide angle lenses, providing uniform coverage and wonderful color temperature. Early models were prone to failure of the switch knobs which could crack or break, allowing water to enter the sealed electronics of the body. Redesign of the knob and addition of a steel insert inside the shaft eliminated these problems. The optional high intensity aiming light bulb is considerably brighter, but consumes more power, reducing the number of flashes from a set of batteries, and the strobe recycle time will be longer. |
