Digital cameras operate very well without artificial light. Flash built into the camera is blocked by the port and can not be used. Video light systems are required if artificial lighting is desired. Kodak DC-260 camera features:

The housing is molded of corrosion free clear polycarbonate and operates safely to 200 feet. Rugged aluminum handles and base plate allows attachment of our video lights. Controls provided for power, shutter release, zoom, mode dial, LCD display button, and scroll/select buttons. Removable external UR-Pro filter is included.

Kodak claims exceptional quality and enough detail for 8x10" photo realistic pictures with 1.6 million Megapixel Plus technology of 1536 x 1023 per image. The Kodak DC-260 can auto-focus to within 12" (0.3m) from your subject. 6X zoom delivers excellent detail with 3X optical and 2X digital zoom.
