This disaster was reported by Keith Keller of Neptune's Divers in the Cayman Inslands.

His van was stolen, used in a failed bank holdup, then burned with the Ikelite housing for Sony PC100 video camera inside.

The photo at the bottom of the page says it all as the camera survived the ordeal and was in fine working order.
