Electrical connectors on the SpD batter pack must have the waterproof cap or a cord installed to be waterproof. The SpD battery pack is a sealed module and should remain trouble free. Do not completely discharge the battery pack to avoid the possibility of one cell reversing polarity. Never store the pack in a discharged condition. Recharge every sixty days if it has not been used. We would expect some loss of performance by 100 charge/discharge cycles, and considerable loss by 300 cycles. Complete replacement of batteries is expected to cost approximately $150. |
