SUGGESTIONS and PROCEDURES

Twenty year history of this lite indicates the only warning is the cap MUST be screwed down as tight as possible. This must be checked before entering the water because transporting will tend to vibrate the cap loose.

We recommend replacement of batteries if they have ever gotten wet. The concern is corrosion which might cause a short in the circuitry. This could place a slight load on the batteries when in storage, causing them to give off an explosive gas. Remove cap when these lights are stored.

Super-Lights shipped after July, 1996 have a second charger socket installed to accept the new Smart Charger. This charger provides more complete charging of the batteries while keeping them cool for longer life, and operates on any input voltage from 90-240 volts ac. This is the ideal, dependable charger for the traveling diver. This socket can be added to older packs for $20.
