The Nikon D-100 digital camera allows only manual operation with any underwater strobe or housing. Housings with conversion circuitry to provide iTTL operation for the newer Nikon digital SLR cameras is available.

The new Manual Controller mounts on top of the handle and provides the choice of 10 power settings with the new digital SubStrobe DS models. Other strobe models from either Ikelite or Nikonos can be used, but not with the Manual Controller. Mount for Nikonos strobes is available.

Any Ikelite TTL sync cord can be used with the Ikelite housings. Housings from other manufacturers may require a special sync cord or modification to the hot shoe.
