![]() 1976 Triumph TR6 with 350 cubic inch V-8 engine from the new Corvette we bought in 1978. This was a fun and exciting installation for 24 years until the frame collapsed from rust where the rear axle assembly was attached. ![]() 1972 Hurst/Olds with the big 455 cubic inch engine. I bought new and still enjoy after 45,000 miles. These were the pace car for the Indianapolis 500 mile race that year. We removed the decals after the race. ![]() 1969 Cord. There were less than forty of these Royale models built with the big 440 cubic inch Chrysler engine. It weighs about 400 pounds less than a Corvette, and might be described as a street slingshot. ![]() 2006 Cadillac XLR. I think of this car as an old man's Corvette. The hard top lowers at the touch of a button. Should have bought the XLRv. but I was too cheap, car was too expensive, and dealer did not have any. Choosing between this and a new Dodge Viper was difficult enough. ![]() 2006 Cadillac XLR with the hard top lowered, ready and waiting for summer. The power top and automatic transmission were the deciding factors for the XLR over the Viper........... ![]() 2000 Cadillac Eldorado. I bought this car when it was five years old with less than 18,000 miles on it and looking like it had never seen rain. I was too cheap to buy a new one when they were available. I find it a very satisfactory automobile. ![]() 1979 Lincoln Mark V. This is a 15,000 mile automobile in almost perfect condition. Very smooth and quiet, but I don't have time to drive so might as well offer it for sale. ![]() 1988 Jaguar XLS V-12 coupe with almost sixty thousand miles. Very smooth and quiet original automobile. My wife found it for sale at an auto show and was in tears wanting it so badly. So here it sits almost never driven. |
