The Sony Cyber-shot RX100 Mark IV differs from the III slightly in camera thickness. All controls are operable when using the newer RX100 Mark IV in this installation with the exception of the rear control dial, which must be set to the inactive position. The rear dial control may be adjusted for the Mark IV camera by installing a washer underneath the control knob. Adjustment washers may be purchased through an Authorized Ikelite Dealer.

Older RX100 Mark I and Mark II cameras are not usable in this housing due to differences in lens and control placement.
There's no greater assurance than being able to see the o-ring seal. Simply close the two double-passivated stainless steel locking lid snaps, and see the o-ring form a solid black, watertight seal.

This housing is just-right-sized to hold comfortably in your hand. Controls are provided for all important camera functions including the rear dial. The camera's versatile front control ring is gear driven to place the control within easy reach. A sensitive shutter lever makes it easy to half-depress the trigger for focusing and metering. All rear controls are clearly marked with engraved indicia which will never fade or fall off.
Use the camera's built-in WiFi feature to download photos to another device without removing the camera from the housing. The WiFi feature is only usable above water within close proximity to the connected device.
An included flash diffuser improves lighting quality when the camera's built-in flash is used. A built-in flash is effective between 1-3 feet (0.3-0.9m) from the subject in clear conditions. For best results a color correcting filter or external lighting is recommended. External lighting is more powerful and can be placed in a position to virtually eliminate the backscatter - or "snow" - from your underwater images.
The optional AF35 strobe triggers and provides automatic TTL exposure by watching the camera's built-in flash, without the need of fiber optic cords or sensors. Alternatively, two ports are provided for the connection of up to two Ikelite-, SEA&SEA-, or Olympus-type fiber optic cords.
