This photo was taken on a night dive under the Blue Heron Bridge in Riveria Beach, FL., where I found this hermit crab lumbering across the bottom in a large conch shell.
On another occasion I was doing a drift dive and was carrying the dive float line, lobster stick and net as well as my Aquashot. I took a picture of a Loggerhead turtle, let go of the camera and it drifted away. With all the equipment I was carrying I had forgotten to secure the camera. I did a slow ascent and hailed the boat. I explained to the captain about the missing Aquashot and asked if they would keep an eye out for it, I had little hope of seeing the Aquashot again. Once all the divers were aboard and the equipment stowed, the captain came and presented me with the missing Aquashot. After the dive I went to a one hour photo shop. Seeing the excellent quality of the Loggerhead photo I had an 8x10 enlargement made and framed. It now hangs in the office of Capt. Lynn Simmons.
