I've been diving since 1963. Initially I dove in the lakes of Michigan. Now most of my diving is done on tropical vacations. My wife, and two teenage daughters are divers and accompany me on these sojourns to paradise. We actually have 2 cameras, the original Aquashot and the Aquashot II. This allows us the luxury of having a regular setup and a macro camera on our dives.
This photo was taken in May of 1998, on a long "dreamed of trip" to Palau. The Lionfish shot was taken in the sand flats off the pier at Carp Island Lodge. These were 2 of 4 Lionfish hovering off the bottom, at the height of a strong incoming tide flow.
