I have been scuba diving since April 1983. I enjoyed the sport so much that I got certified as an open water instructor. In June of 1997 I got married to by dive buddy and best friend Carla Veri. We bought an Ikelite Aquashot II for our honey moon in Bonaire and loved it. I enjoyed taking pictures so much and had such great success with the Aquashot II that when the new Aquashot 3 came out we decided to upgrade. The capability of using a non-disposable camera inside is fantastic so now my wife finds the pictures and I take them.
My wife and I were diving Bonaire town pier, scanning each pillar in search of the elusive seahorse, when we came across these two incredible pictures. We were focused upon the pillar where our flashlights were aimed, fascinated with all of the magnificent colors when we came upon something spectacular. All I could do was to hope nothing moved while I snapped the picture, wondering if the photograph would do justice to what I just witnessed.
