I was certified as a diver over five years ago, but soon lost interest in the sport, because of the repetition of looking at the same things. Boy was I missing the "Picture". I bought my Aquashot 3e three days before going on a three day live aborad scuba trip to the channel Islands. This trip was 5 years after gaining certification and making only 12 dives. I now have made over 50 dives this year and continue to take the camera on every dive. The worst problem with this contest is deciding which picture to send in. I love them all.
I took the kelp picture completing a safety stop at Monastery Beach by Monterey Bay. We had just dove to 70 feet and I managed to snap pictures of: star fish, anemonies, a bat ray and this kelp. Dang, I love this camera.
