Be prepared at 80 feet to have a seven-foot wolf eel wrap around you looking for a handout. These ugly but friendly fish are the unofficial greeters of the Pacific Northwest. Surrounded by barnacles, urchins, and anemones, this fella poses for his portrait. Be nice and he will play. This picture was taken at God's Pcket Resort near Port Hardy, British Columbia. Because of the tidal currents, you can only dive twice a day. Because it is cold, you only want to dive twice a day. However, it's worth it.
