I began diving in 1975 at the age of 15. I have logged over 550 dives at various dive locations in the Bahamas, Florida, Grand Cayman, Gulf of Mexico, and Cozumel. I've also dove many lakes, rivers, springs and quarries in Texas and Oklahoma. I started photography with an Aquashot I in 1991. I'm currently using an Aquashot III with a Fuji Endeavor 10 camera and the Aquashot Macro Kit.
This octopus hiding in a purple barrel sponge was taken on a shore night dive at the LaCeiba Hotel in Cozumel, Mexico. I love shore diving with just my best dive buddy, my wife. We can spend hours diving using the macro lens. There is a whole world to see in one square foot of ocean reef!
